'Twas a tad chilly on the bike this morning, but suitable attire meant it was a pleasant ride, apart from every set of pedestrian light changing to red as I approached them. I'm also feeling encouraged by gradual weight loss from being more committed to some exercise and eating the right amount.

Well, another sh!t day; we've just come back from saying our final farewells to Danielle, 21, another mate of Ryan's. She was on the same ward as Ryan and we all thought she had beaten it; she got married, had a daughter and passed on 4 months later. At times like these, life really sucks a5s and her Mum and Dad have now become members of the worst club in the world. It's all bollox.
