Morning all. Enjoy the painting/decorating Matt.....my favourite job.....NOT!

Enjoy the ride Dave....can't remember the last time I had a ride.....on a bike.

More workshop work today. Getting there but progress is slow as me & the BIL don't have much spare time to put into it. It will be fully water tight soon & outside done then will be great to start on the inside.

Hopefully ready for lots of spring cars jobs.

Oh watched The Martian last night on Kodi as the Saturday night TV offering was abosymal.

Brilliant and inspiring film of human survival, I give it 5 stars.

Saw Martian at the cinema in Doha, loved it. Managed to get to see Rogue One and enjoyed that too.

Seen La La Land, Deadpool, War Dogs, The Accountant, The Informer, Tarzan, Grimsby, The Girl on the Train all on Kodi recently and enjoyed them all.

Morning all, little dog performed very well indeed on his first time on a shoot, he did just hang on Pippin's ears most of the time but he was not phased by the gun shots which is the worry. I brought a couple of pheasant home and a woodcock which was a first for me, I had it for my dinner and it is a fabulous flavour. Today I'm doing some DIY first changing some taps, some accounts after and then setting myself up for the week to come repairing and replacing ropes with the swaging machine.

Have fun all...

Morning all, should get out on the bike but the rain is horrible. Some little DIY tasks to do to earn some brownie points which I am going to need if plans come off

Morning, Forum. The Crud family film last night was H3ll or High Water, which was excellent. Jeff Bridges in particular was outstanding.

Newton, glad that both dawgs are shaping up well. Good news for you and the dinner table. I'm not sure I've had woodcock before (no puns, please!) but it sounds worth looking out for.

Off through the rain to Heathrow T3 now, and then to Miami this afternoon for a few days, back on Thursday morning. I've not been to Miami before and am looking forward to it, but my schedule's looking a bit packed so hopes of doing the tourist thang are unlikely to be fulfilled. This time, at least.

Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Poor thing, by the time it was plucked, prepped and ready to roast it was barely a tennis ball in size! 10 minutes in the oven is all it needed, a short rest and ready to go. A very easy bird to prepair with no suprises. The meat is very dark (almost venison dark) but really flavoursome.

It is fair to say you would have an individual bird unless they are large ones. This was a particularly small one shot yesterday on one of the drives. They are about 1:16 to pheasant on this shoot, they have English partridge as well but as they are building the numbers they get left alone.

Morning all,

Got home eventually last night after having to wait for two hours on the plane for it to get de-iced.

Ghibli started first time after being left in the cold in the airport car park for a week. It was great to drive a car with power again.

Last film I watched was assassins creed well that's 2 hours of my life I won't get back !!

That is a truly sh!te film, we watched it and wanted our money back.

Good Morning everyone, nice Sunday at work, usual relaxed atmosphere with little distraction (SM excluded!) so I can crack on with what I want and need to do.
Speaking of films, does anyone know where I can find the early Star Wars (stream sites) , Mrs MLC needs to catch up...and I'm happy to re-watch them for the 1000th time... PM me if you do...
