Appreciate the invite Andy, but that means driving much further than to Blyton (which is a much more interesting track and all of 15 miles away), and Cadwell, Mallory Park, Donington, Oulton, Silverstone, Croft and even Brands Hatch - all a chunk nearer than Llandow. It's a long way towing a trailer mate...

Had a cracking lunch with Miles and Lisa - both on good form, passed on your regards. Food was epic - another gastropub selected by moi... The Kitchen, Farnborough, near Banbury. Highly recommended.

LOL. I am quite up on my Pug hatches & knew it was a 206 GTi but was just responding to Dem. My mate had one years ago and loved it. I had the 306 GTi6, one mate had a 1.9 205 FRi, my flatmate had a 106 GTi. I bought a Clio 16v a few years back to relive my youth. Amazing how rubbish they felt a few years later. Scared me witless as felt so dangerously underbuilt. Bought it, fixed it and flipped it.

The GTi 6 felt so fast at the time...not sure 168bhp cuts the mustard any more for a hot hatch these days.

Oooh, looks nice, and really not far from Oxford. I may just have to enjoy a weekend blast in our cars for a lunch there.

Morning everyone! A day in the office compiling a tender and then escape early ahead of tomorrow's red eye Eurostar and then a couple of days in Copenhagen.

Morning all, need to clean all the bugs which ended their lives on the QP over the weekend, then a day of initial fettling of the 206 for a track session on Wednesday. Have a great week all!

Morning all, in a cab on the way to LHR for a flight to Copenhagen, one day mine and Mr Cruds compasses will align and we will be in the same city for a few days for a catch up I'm sure.

Got a busy week then hopefully can get the GTS collected at some point before the long weekend.

Still no V8 on my drive sadly

no news at all.

Gave myself a much needed day in the office today rather than risk being on site doing weather critical jobs; it is naturally a clear blue sky out there now!

Much to catch up on and many invoices to write so not all bad.

Driveway is however full of rubbish bags awaiting collection.

What time's your flight, Phil? I'm on my way to Heathrow now, also Nordics-bound but for me the Stockholm office beckons.

Morning, all. Another week and another four nights away from home. I really need to try and spend time with the family soon. More importantly, I got me some pre-Le Mans prepping and fiddling to do and I can't do that from an airport!
