Morning all,
I am with Benny, bit fluffy this morning!!!!!

That's an impressive admission, very brave of you both coming out at last. Very happy for you both :)

Morning all, off for lunch with a fellow SMer today with a blue GTS, who hasn't been online much lately.

I was wondering when they were going to release Miles from hibernation. Say hi from me and let him know there is another Italian forum run in September.

Speaking of AWOL members, texted Blondie a couple of days ago and not had a reply, anyone seen Lady Penelope?

Morning all. Day two of digging out the front garden to put gravel on it.

Oh the joy!

Need to get a load of weed killer to put all over it before putting the gravel on.
With the amount I need to do, I'll be sweating like a fat kid at sports day as it's rather humid here today.

Have a good one all!

Put some membrane down before you gravel! Otherwise the weeds will return.

Say hi to Miles for us Drew, wish him well. I too am a feeling like a hang over but didn't touch a drop last night just overseeing the party from a distance. It quietened down around 3am!

Clear up and take down the marquee today then some paperwork to do; need to start prepairing stuff for the insurance on the Mas too.

Have fun all...

They are quick round a track
I love the 306 GTi6
I had a GTi6 many moons ago in Blaze Yellow. Drove one round Silverstone on a experience day as well which was a riot.

It was a company car & remember doing a scavenger rally in Le Touquet put on by Epson & Computers Unlimited & mine was by far the worst car there by far. TVR's, Fezza's, Maser's. Hilarious seeing 20 cars all racing around in fancy dress on a Sat in tiny French villages! Only time my missus has ever told me to drive faster & overtake cars!

Apparently that doesn't stop them.
It's all about stopping UV light. A decent thick but breathable black membrane WILL stop them. Used some on a suspended deck I did on the last house & it worked a treat. No weeds or growth for the last 5 years we were there.

We did it under our drive as well in that house and that worked as well. Didnt stop the little ones forming in between the blocks in the sand though but that is a different issue & to be expected.

Morning all
lovely day here some lunch and a cycle ride I think

A membrane should work against the weeds but the only other problem may be a route for rainwater to drain away
have fun and don't put your back out!

I went for the overkill method in the end.

Put a load of weed killer down and then the membrane.
If they start coming through after that, I'll just have to weed it.
Or move! Lol!

Afternoon folks. Chilling out today.

Newton, did the party go well? I hope you are able to sort the present situation.

That's because you want via Atlanta, which is a huge and silly airport. Enjoy Dallas, anyway. Try and go directly to breakfast in the morning. No unecessary diversions.

Cost driven (and tier points) innit.

Breakfast was stonking though. I need to go do some serious something to work it off. Perhaps back to Atlanta again?

After a good Texan breakfast I can only imagine that walking back to Atlanta would be nearly enough to burn off the calories.

Yes Stevie, I'm sure parties took a lot less organising back in the day! All tidied up and the marquee is stowed back in the remaining loft of the garage till the next one, it went together a lot better this time, probably because we are more used to it and it no doubt has stretched to fit the frame better. The garden is also recovered and I've even put down a bag of grass seed to try and fill in some of the gaps in the excuse for a lawn!
