Morning from a glorious Evreux, Northern France.

A few bottles of rouge put away last night. Off to Chartres then down to Le Mans to pick up the tickets and check out some restaurants for the trip.

Back to Evreux tonight the return via Calais tomorrow.

Morning, all.

Newton - you painted your entire house in a *weekend*? It takes me days to do a single room! I remain amazed at your productivity. Extraordinary.

Chris - good luck getting your paint dealt with.

Dem - good luck with your interview - fingers crossed for you, mate.

Matt - on balance it seems like you're spending your time far better than the rest of us. Have a good trip.

Working at home today. Have a troublesome customer to deal with, a couple of proposals to get moving and the usual assortment of admin fun.

Have a good day, everyone.

Morning all. Top weekend. Apart for the 25 horses my Alfa GT is mysteriously missing.
Even with the map on it now it only has 160bhp.

It had 126 before the map, and 160 after. Should be 150 and 185.

Bit of diagnostics required I think....

I did a rolling road shootout with my Maser with a group of Alfa boys a couple of years ago.
I was last on the rollers, being rear wheel drive and they having to reconfigure the rollers, and produced slightly above factory figures (phew!)
However nearly all the Alfa's before were under factory figures, by quite a margin, so maybe yours is actually TADS?

Ran mine when I first got it (manual car) and it ran 406.6 bhp. I am confident with the way it is running now that it will run a bit higher than that.

Could be anything I suppose, faulty EGT or O2 sensor, stuck wastegate on turbo to name just a few things.

They will all do that at some point Sir, it's an Alfa. Just be thankful it's still running!
