Morning all, off work now until the 5th Jan after a really busy year so much needed break. Off to spinning class soon and then going to get the last of some nice fine wines from Waitrose for tomorrow. Will no doubt be bang on it this evening :)

Have a great Christmas all and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Happy Dan'sday, everyone, especially Dan. Off now until the 4th. A very, very welcome break.

Have a good day, all. And if you're off to the cinema to see Paddington have a super time.

Good Morning all.
Finished work Yesterday lunchtime then went to watch the last Hobbit film. It was a bit of a disappointment, like the others really.
Getting two cars washed and waxed today, if I have the energy for it.

Oppps...going to see it by the end of the week. I liked the 1st one, the second had too much battle and a less good soundtrack.

Hobbit ? Have they made a movie? Lost interest at third LOTR
I liked the LOTR films but these Hobbit ones left me cold, hanging on the coat tails of the first 3 in my opinion. They won't be added to the DVD collection.
Cars washed and waxed? Fat chance :(

We are officially DONE....!

Jeanette is out visiting a friend and picking up some part baked rolls as I type for Christmas meal and I've just had a call from Sally who is just 3 miles from home having been caught in an accident tailback on the M25 for ages! House is frightened into submission and looking respectable and I even managed to have a shave last night so I don't get mistaken for Father Christmas!

Time to lunch, light a roaring fire in the living room and kick back with a large single malt methinks!

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Sounds like a cracking plan Newton!

Back from a muddy, icy, off-road (off-piste really) mountain bike ride. Returned completely filthy, caked in mud... Excellent way to spend a sunny afternoon before we take the presents to the French kids next door :)

Coffee and cake is on its way first though :)

Midnight service bells ringing at the local church. Woke the nipper who started wandering...emergency diversion from the lounge needed before he drifted back to sleep. Damned Christians!!! Oh, wait...its...erm...Christmas!
