Morning all.

Great night last night as ever, but we're still hacking our way through the DB upgrade. Going to be a long day / night I suspect.

Adam, I was going to be at the Emirates lounge as well, but the company has decided that we should cut costs, while ignoring value Safe flight.

Our lawn looks like a shaggy pile carpet. Not been mowed for months

No better in the private sector, no pay rise for anyone in the company I work for in 7 years now, including myself.

Self employed for 14 years what's a pay rise ?
Did have some fringe benefits though.
Being honest looking forward to starting my new job with a proper contract of employment in NZ.

Fly from Heathrow to LA then to Aukland on the 24/11.
No where proper to live yet other than a Motel to start.
First priority when landing is to buy a car to drive to Hamilton.
In contact with dealers to try and get one sorted.
Will have a few days before starting work on 1/12/14.
Loads to do in getting ready for the shippers.
Oh and the small point of no passports as they are still with the NZ embassy in London.

A bit overcast here and breezy, temp at 14 degC. Having a few people over for a natter, usually interesting..!! Lawn Tractor went away yesterday for a service, so final cut before winter next weekend I suppose..!!
