Dvla are printing in house for last line of tax disks. These will not have the perforations so you will need to cut them out yourself...or keep it as a collectors item like those spoilt stamps.

I was thinking, how sad are some people that they would collect tax disks like stamps... Then as I got my log book out for my German city pollution pass, every past tax disk of my car rolled out on the floor, I realized I probably am that sad :(

Morning, all.

Andy, it's a bit hectic when the potus chappie is in town. You don't get the sense that looking in any way suspicious, or flying a small aeroplane in the general direction of the big man, would be an especially good idea. Nor one you'd get the chance to repeat.

Last day in Stockholm today. Crazy busy few days. New job should be exceptionally challenging and terrifically good fun. And exhausting.

Have a good one, everyone.

Love Stockholm Adam, stay on Skeppsholmmen usually and at Radisson. Gamla Stan is lovely and there is usually plenty of nice metal to look at on Sodermalm. enjoy!

Morning everyone. A day of file archiving beckons today, something that I've been putting off all year. Lots of trips to the loft and then to the recycling centre.

Have a good one everybody

Good morning. Stiff neck when I woke up so I'll be walking around trying not to be distracted by pretty young things that pass to my right. Tired after the nipper kept me awake. Ok, That's the moaning out of the way, on with the day.

Good luck with the new clients everyone, best thing to do is smile & nod sagely in agreement while they tell you what they think they want...then turn all serious and tell them what they actually want.

Glad to see you're still enjoying the new job, Adam.

Coffee calls.

One of the joys of business hey!

Morning all. Took the Maz in yesterday so descided to give her a quick wash and dry.

Picked up a bit of grit when drying and resulted in 2, 8" arc scratches on top of the rear wing!!!!

Tryied to cut it out but too deap, so out came the bucket of water, 2500 grit wet and dry and the mop and compound.

The guy opposite looked horrified as I sandpapered a Maserati. What you end up with is a hazy surface. It polished up to a mirror shine, the guy was impressed.

Got to go bloody careful though!

Morning all.

I can see by the reflection in the monstrous buidling opposite that the sun is up, but this is NY, so it's still dark in 50% of the city :)

They say you should never meet your heroes. Well last night I feel I updated it to 'You should never eat your heroes'. While out hunting for dinner, I stumbled across one of Anthony Bourdain's places. A man for whom I have great respect. I'd like to say it was superb. Sadly, it was just OK. Better than nothing but not as good as (say) the Marco Pierre White steakhouse in Liverpool.

Will I ever find a really good meal in this country?

Have a great day all. Looking forward to flying home tomorrow. Apparently my wheels are done and will be waiting for me :D

Excellent news Robert!

Just had a long conversation with a prospective client. It's all very sensitive for them, so they will only speak in general terms, ask general questions but expect specific answers to which they wish to hold me accountable. Spiffing. I've explained that we need to get into contract, sign a load of non-disclosures and get down to solving their problems. Just like grown-ups ;)
