Having just bought an EQC i can confirm its quite a good car. range is not great but its very quiet, and quite fast. Handling is ok as long as you don't push it too hard, its so heavy it get quite hard to get it under control once you have "gone too far" but i have quickly learned how to handle it. If you can live with the range dropping you can cover miles very quickly indeed. I would also say that its the most refined motorway car i have ever encountered, at 70 mph its so quiet its hard to believe.
Im glad it fits your requirement, that absolutely brilliant for you, I just wish myself and others didn't have to help contribute towards it, not that i begrudge you personally but if it catches on ...................you know what i mean lol

You forgot to add at a greater cost than petrol or diesel , and the limited availability of those chargers in certain areas
You wouldn't be using them daily unless you're doing 250-300 mile round trips regularly, not many people do that

There's a 2020 EQC on autotrader with 127k on it for 19k, they've made it work all be it with massive depreciation.

Admittedly they're not for everyone but a car with sports car performance for ⅓ of the price of the petrol equivalent and no 15mpg sounds appealing to me

I read Aston Martin have now pushed 'the future' to the right and will move development funding to hybrid and ICE. And will continue to produce ICE until legally prevented.
I think the manufacturers have finally cottoned on , with any luck they will continue in the same vein and implement a removal of any association with Stonewall ltd

Stroll has said the customers are not interested and until they ICE is banned completely they will continue to make petrol engine. They will concentrate on hybrid though. Great quote of the day from Stroll….’everyone said we still want sound, we still want smell'

Its a marketing exercise where they are likely being paid to allow a boat maker to put a trident on one of their models.

$2.6m for a tender or day cruiser with a range of only 43 miles, the world of boats is just a different league
