It appears to keep getting better. Seems they removed compensation payments from their profits declared for tax purposes, but kept it in the sums when calculating executive bonuses.....

If it were MPs that'd been treated like this the compensation would have been in their accounts in days, I'm not holding my breath it'll happen anytime soon, 12 months more waffling and there'll probably be another 20 dead
From comments I've seen on social media I'd think the itv drama has cost their business millions, the irony is boycotting the post office will hurt the postmasters and mistresses the most.

Just been to the odeon to watch The Beekeeper, what a load of old ********.
I usually avoid statham films as they're all **** but this was all that was starting as I was walking past the cinema
Odeon limitless is an unbelievable £120 for a year until 31/01 I think

Did you watch Fool Me Once ? Best drama this year buddy. Also The Tourist was also good. This is the second series so worth hunting down the first series first as it carries on.

Mr Bates v The Post Office is a “must watch” and I highly recommend it.
It’s a huge scandal and quite unbelievable that it happened and has not been sorted out - the drama will go down in history and being one of the most powerful and influential ever - and will win every award going.
CBE’s already handed back - laws about to be changed - new compensation packages announced - apologies and offers to pay the compensation etc etc
What we now want to read about our Director prosecutions and financial penalties.

That was the select committee. The issue I always find with them is the people asking the questions are not as smart or well informed as they'd like to think. Watching the Horizon enquiry is rather terrifying

I will watch the ITV shows but having just bought Private Eye for the first time in years I need to cool off a bit.
They reported years back that Horizon was pulled out of the bin and dumped on the Post Office. Same software was tried on DHSS and failed awfully so was scrapped. The contract was signed and paid so a decision was made to " use it".

Makes no sense. There appears to be clear evidence of perjury and perverting the course of justice in the inquiry evidence.

Agree with that. Quite evident. There's no need for an enquiry. Enough evidence for prosecution.
