Thanks guys, it's a spot on car having had annual maintenance since 2000 and recent clutch, brakes, tyres and other items during my ownership. It's been inspected at Autoshield as always so whoever wins the auction has peace of mind. It's the first Shamal to be auctioned worldwide in at least the last 5 years according to Silverstones. I'm hoping Nick Mason, JK, Jay Leno and the Sultan of Brunei are all there stuck in a bidding war.

That emblem car looks to have colour mismatch along the side, unless it is the photos and angles..??

As Phil H says, the angular body panels make it look like there's paint differences, same on my pics.

It's Chris Evans you want along to the auction Dicky. He famously went to buy a poster and ended up with the Coburn California!

Not as yet, the auction is in 2 weeks time. The thread title's date is wrong, it's 22-23 February.

Just got home from Race Retro and had a look at it - as you say its on tomorrow.
Hope it goes well for you, Dicky

Just sat through 1/2 of this afternoons auction there. Didn't see Jay Kay or anyone famous in today's sessions - obviously waiting for the auction tomorrow!

Not sold Ewan, didn't quite get there, it's coming home today. I'll be listing on my site soon.

It'll be on my site by teatime, don't think it can go to the states as they never went through homologation. Maserati didn't do any of the 1980-1990's cars in the USA. If anyone knows better I stand corrected.
I'm not in a rush to sell it, just thought the auction was a good place, apparently not, so I'll retail it now.

Oh well. But on the upside, at least you got to see us give the Scots a beating. And I assume you've seen a recording of the Ireland game. So, just the Welsh to go...

Can't help but think that your Shamal would sell for more on the continent. Maybe a spring/summer auction in Germany. Or parked up in Modena during the 100th celebrations with a cheeky "for sale" sticker in the window. If nothing else it would be a fun drive out/back.

Dicky,
It's worth a check for the USA, I know there were certain exceptions available for some vehicles..!!
Cheers
