Always good to know , but we already have two here already . So you went for round tube instead of square ?

yes round tube in the end . when i drew it up i realised that square tube would clash with the reduced depth at the other end of the box cause i would have had to angle it round so it was nt plate . I have got all the tube cut and bored today so just a bit of scalloping to do then get it welded up . hapyy days! ;P

Woops, not lining up that well..?? Round tube will give you a smoother sound anyway..!!

Yes it's all lining up fine . It's just sat in the bottom of the box in that photo . Once it's all tacke up it will align perfectly ;p

Yep the old pillar drill was shaking like a ******* ha ah . I just loade it with cutting paste and stood back ... Actually I was surprised how well it cut . If you just let it chatter away with little pressure on it it cut fine .
. Ha ve nt for the fancy tools you ve got ha ha . And yes benny I hav nt forgotten to make a plate for the end ha ha .

And I think only the tops are going to get welded . I don t think a little spill will make too much difference . Not considering the amount of holes that were in the original pipe work . Other wise I'll have to cut the bottom if the box off after I have welded the top back on ha ha

Yep this is what iam going to do , you carnt realy get to the other side for welding , my mate got some super duo per exhaust paste (flexible ) he's going to spread some around the the back , plus we will pack the box with the sound orbsorbing material .

Quality car the Renault 11, a mate of mine was on holiday in Yorkshire with his family and a fully loaded roof box and managed to roll it over!

Is that me or you I really can't tell?

Renaults, hum. When I first passed my driving test in 1987 Renaults had all sorts of electric gizmos where as everyone else had Ford Fiestas and there was nothing in them, so the Renault was a good buy, comfortable and fast too.

Sure they broke down and were a pig to fix but I cut my mechanical teeth on them. After 4 or so used Renaults I bought new, a Meganne coupe. That broke down just as much as the old ones did....so I bought another new one, a cab this time...and guess what, that broke all the time too.

That was the end of the affair so I opted for a brand new Alfa GTV TwinSpark and guess what, that never let me down, nore did the 3.2 V6 I got after that.

The rest they say is history.
