And is the 4200 different from the Ferrari 430 which shares the common engine block...

OK I'll go 1,6,2,7,4,5,8,3....just off my head working out a balanced firing order...

I don't know the answer to the firing order, but it certainly is different to the 430 as they use different crank configurations. One is cross plane and the other is flat.

How do you flat crank a Vee? Must have some differing firing intervals almost akin to the 'big bang' engines of 1990s 500cc GP bikes...
