OK and linked question

How many houses do they actually pass and how many times do they pass them on the way to a shout?

There are 4 houses and they normally pass them 5 times although it does differ occasionally.

OK back to sensible questions

What was unusual about the year 1752 ?

I remember something now you mentioned calendar, it's something to do with how many days were in it I think.

Not sure but I think we changed from the Julian to the Gregorian calender and lost some time during the change over about then.
Either that or something to do with the mini ice age and the Thames freezing etc

OK, back to music. "In a Broken Dream" was sung by Rod Stewart, but as a guest vocalist. Name the band, and which well known DJ recorded it?

I know his vocal was sampled in the Asap Rocky / Mark Ronson record earlier this year but I have no idea who was credited with the original version

I think John Peel was the DJ, he did loads of supporting bands in the early days. Band no idea but if snakes are involved, Vipers, Cobras, Pythons all come to mind
