Maybe this grey one isn‘t a proper earlier Sport GT-S, but I post the above just to show that such a model exists.

The chap I sold mine to still has it, and would sell, in case anyone’s interested. But it would be all the money - he’d not be bothered by a low offer. It’s a very rare model, and in a unique spec.

So was yours a Sport GT? Or did you add the badges?

There are no badges!
(We are talking about the badges that say “Sport GT” that sit at the base of the pillar between the front and rear doors. They were on the Sport GT, not the Sport GT-S.)
Mine was a Sport GT-S, so the real deal of QP‘s at that time.

Ah, sorry - I was confusedly talking about the Maserati logos on the 'C' pillars, not the GT badges on the 'B' pillars.

I think all QP V models have the tridents on the C pillars. But only the Sport-GT of 2006-8 has the script badge on the B pillar. Well, that’s my recollection from back in the day.

BTW, I think I have a pair of used Sport-GT script badges kicking around in case anyone needs them.

Mine didn't when I bought it, but that was because (as it turned out) it had been in a rear-end shunt, and they didn't put on the badges after the rear 3/4 re-spray. So a warning sign.

The chassis no and DVLA details list it as a 4.2 Sport GTS, so it probably is, chassis is:

ZAMFD39C000039768

That’s the end of the good news.

Also was sold in a salvage auction in 2019, MOT history is a litany of issues. The seller is clearly a dealer as he has loads of cars listed on FB. Advertised with 110k, it had done 117k last October.

Wonder what it was in salvage auction for? I guess it’s very easy for an insurance co to write one of these off for very minor damage these days.
Cheap though, how low can one of these go!?

Hi All
I’ve been considering a QP for a while, recent life events have made think I should stop procrastinating and I’ve sold my sensible 535d with the aim of finding something more interesting to drive regularly.
I’m going to try to view the below car, does anyone know it? It has full dealer history except the most recent one at Autoshield which I understand is a good thing (where Richard Grace would get pre purchase inspections done?).
Any tips for my viewing welcome, would I be able to see enough of the subframe etc without a ramp?http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310062733043

Ask Marios to PPI it for you, best ££ you’ll ever spend.

Engine no is pre variator modification (144357) so you’d need to check that first. Only 3 owners and a pretty good MOT history (expires this week).
