I can't believe the members of this forum are really getting juiced up at the prospect of driving a non competitive soot chucking badging exercise wrapped up in a non entity of blandness. Tell me it's a joke....please

:D

That's what I like about Barrie, he says what he likes and likes what he bloody well says! True but it's a nicer soot chucker than a Merc or BMW. I'd have a Trident which has no blandness in the garage as well for the off days :)

Frank,
There is a flood of them at the minute, I get loads of silly offers daily coming through, they must have a considerable stock sitting around and want to move them..??
A Maserati diesel has not been proven yet, they might have problems like some of the diesels out there that continually coke up and stop, who knows..??
Cheers

Apart from the engine has been tried and tested in Jeep's, Chryslers and RAM's for a good few years.

If it's a tried and tested unit, with no drawbacks, then it should be OK as a diesel saloon..!!

Apologise for being a bit too forthright Phil but I can't help feeling the marque I love is being sh4gged by bean counters plus Meridien had a 2000 miler diesel up on the ramps with an oil leak (not the first I was told) and it was an engine and gear box out job to fix. £2500 to fix an oil leak. I wonder how that is going to go down when warranties have run there course. Plus ask any of the techs what they think about working on diesels and you get that look like you have just asked to borrow their wife for a hour.

£275 or nothing Phil................;)

Oils leaks in a new range are completely un-acceptable, never mind a premium marque

I have started looking at Range Rover Evoques, I know its a little bit girly but in black it would pass.

Currently being offered 2.2 Tech Pack which is 50mpg and has leather and traffic stanav, all for £229 on a 24 +9 giving a 2 year deal of £7,337 plus 10% VAT so £8k all in for a £30k+ car

Anyone driven one, how do they drive?

Matt, have you driven one?

Having said that, in two years it would loose £13/14k if bought outright?

I've seen the Evoque deals they are pretty good, 2 wheel drive though so the mrs wouldn't have one.The Golf R deals work out about £5.5K plus vat over two years so excellent for a £30k car

Easy to steal apparently if it has key-less entry. Fearure on BBC stating only one co will insure.

The Revoke; a triumph of form over function and favoured by yummy-mummies and wannabes. I hate to say it, but I'd rather have a Vulva.

I have heard from a few that the Evoke is a right pile of poo and you can't see out of the back window..!!

They're shite and the boot is tiny. A mate of mine bought one for his wife and has regretted it ever since. It's an expensive Freelander and they're rubbish as well!!

Bl00dy good little diesel which pulls like a train and as you say in black or red/black they look quite evil. Plus they grip like s... to a blanket.
