DL were "comfortable" to fit a second hand part, or even a eurospares supplied actuator, but did highlight that if it wasn't the actuator, or something subsequently went wrong , then I wouldn't have any comeback on their labour charges or be able to send the actuator back to where I bought it whereas they wouldn't charge for the actuator if it didn't fix the problem! As painful as it is, I just want the car back fixed so told them to crack on!
On the bright side, I get to drive it again next week & first time properly with my new straight through stainless sports exhaust!
