Oh Dem that's not good
Had a GSXR 600, I got off it at 60mph and wrote it off ( bit of road rash on leathers nothing too serious ) my mum said "I hope that's a lesson learnt" it was - I bought a 750 to replace it

I got low sided off an R1 at 138 and walked away with a broken finger, although everything I was wearing and the bike was written off. 5 days later I passed the same spot at 145 just to prove to myself that my bottle hadn't gone. My finger hurt like a b!tch though, due to the the heavy clutch on the Kwacker 900 I was riding. Happy days!

Oh I had a Sprint ST 1050 until last year. I bet it's improved without the cats, although I always preferred the 995 engine. I had a Speed Triple as well :)

I'll take it out tomorrow and find out how much better it is if it isn't too cold. I'll take it to my local Triumph dealer to have the fast road map put in it. It was already in but they reflashed the ECU at my last service because they had forgotten they had put the upgraded map in when I got the bike. I reckon a de cat and map is probably worth a 5-10 bhp increase. Hopefully!

Sure do. I've also got a 1976 Suzuki GT750A kettle and a 1976 Suzuki GS750DB. I use the Triumph for all weather commuting when I don't have to take a suitcase to work.

ive just turned down a kettle from a friend as i used to have one, but got the Ducati instead.

Enjoy. I'm a tad jealous.

The fuelling is now just about perfect. It picks up quicker, has more urgency through the rev range and it sounds fantastic. Job jobbed! Now waiting for some nice weather. :D
