too pricey for a LHD in today's market imo regardless of history...........shame it's a manual or I would have offered £100 for the gearbox:saifi3:

One of the last, but way too pricey .... Unless someone out there thinks differently and stumps up the cash. Then it's the right price.

Wow that expensive...but I suppose to a similar aged Ferrari,It's a bargain.....and with 1970's Alfa 105 series GTV's fetching well over 20K nowadays...

I know one thing for sure..know one will be buying my old manual 3200GT 24k miler under 16K!

Surely it's worth as much as the owner wants? Who are we to judge

But I don't think we should be talking down prices, should just be saying 'looks great example'

Heck after what iv done to my car I don't think I'd want to sell for anyless than 20k! Lol

One of the last made and registered, low mileage for year, good condition, good history and only 2 owners, why not..??

It will sell to a new owner on the continent to the left hand drive market where it is worth that money but in this country, forget it.

The exchange rate is favouring euro buyers buying over here at the moment and with it being LHD it is a perfect purchase. Same is happening to SZ, hard to sell in the UK but quite a few are heading back to mainland Europe for good money.

Nice car way too pricey but let the market decide - reference the Euro I think you will find it is 10% weaker than it has been against sterling this will make the car
more expensive for European buyers

Exactly so - Sterling has risen against the euro. There won't be many people from the eurozone buying here on that basis, BUT the used car market in the UK is much cheaper than most of Europe, so they will still come. Check out some prices for used Maseratis in France and you'll see what I mean.

When I sold my Lotus Elise over 3 years ago its was 1:1...the phone started ringing from French buyers within 20 minutes of posting the advert on Pistonheads and sold straight away at full (also slightly inflated due to the 1:1 exchange rate) asking price.
It was excellent for me, and others selling, but bad for any UK buyers!
In reality, I got 20% more than it really was worth under normal circumstances.

A friend of mine just bought a spotless RHD late 3200 with less miles than this and full main dealer history for considerably less money. It was shown in the recent EVO mag buyers guide. This LHD car is at least £5k overpriced for the UK market, if not more.

Evo mag buying guide has no pics of a 3200 but a 4200.

Let's all be happy as owners that prices of good examples are going up. This LHD version is overpriced for the UK, but it's not likely to be bought by a UK buyer, it's priced for a European buyer.
