Early days yet, but seems to be about the same performance wise to me. I think R8 interior feels better built that the Maser (even an MCV) Also the noise of the R8 isn't as nice as the maser, so horses for courses.

The one I have only has 17K miles on...... My wife much prefers the manual to the F1 in the Maser, she couldn't get her head around that :)

I also love the fact that the engine is on show, as it looks amazing, even has LED's around the engine bay!

Cheers.... I may be back to Maserati one day if they make a car with a twin clutch gearbox and smaller than a GT

Very nice Pete, guy near me owns one, reg is JU57 TRY , looks like Just Try, Mugello Blue i think it is called, stunning car.

i have a neighbour (not for long) that has 1 ace on a QP and now is buying an R8 V10 and putting it on that.....

I'm perhaps a bit sad...... But I cant see the point of private number plates. More money than sense I reckon..... :)

MC Victory went today, stayed in the UK, which, nothing against our Aussie cousins, I'm very happy about.

It's a gentleman who's owned quite a few exotica including a Murcielago. I asked him about the forum but doubt he'll be joining us although you never know.
