Sorry...could someone confirm that Eurospares now do a 4.7 GTS Pattern Discs, front and rear?

Price has come down in the last few months. I had to buy OEM ones for my 4.7 and even with the Meridien Ross discount they came in just shy over £1K for both the front discs.

That seems about right. 5-600 quid each is what they were when I last looked.

Looking around for OEM discs the best price I found was Sucd car parts Egham. They will only supply OEM so if you want FD pads Larni are the UK distributor.

I would buy the parts at Eurospares and have a local mechanic fit them. Check Eurospares offer section as they have discs in there now for £119/£129 each and pads at £105 a set so all in with VAT its £1095. They sell them as a Kit but are cheaper individual.

The only trick piece is the Electronic Parking Brake which needs to be setup at a dealer.

Thanks

Grimaldi's are literally next door to Eurospares, in Halstead. They are now fitting the pattern discs and some non-OEM pads that they recommended instead of the Eurospares ones.

Can't wait to get the car back!!

I'll be doing my own brakes ...Its the one job I know I can do . Doesn't negate the price of parts tho ..actually of those quotes the labour sounded reasonable even by ford dealer standards.
