always loved the fact that the vent in the middle of the passenger side dash was the hole for the left hand drive version steering column, they just lifted the clock binnacle and moved it to the other side!

Lol. Now that is thinking ahead!

With all this talk of BL cars I decided to get my Rover Vitesse Twin Plenum out and take a few pictures.

Needs a few little bits and bobs most notably a headlining and a new steering wheel but pretty good otherwise.

So here we go for those who are interested!














I remember back in the 80s when Andy Rouse rolled up to Henley's in Coventry for the FIA to check on the homologation of his then new 3500 race car... they were the days!Mark0714SD1image01.jpg

What on earth were they doing with a Wurlitzer on the M11?

Some kind of jive.

Now that brings back memories! My dad had a Vitesse. Red one. A801OEV. Loved it. The first rust showed up after about a year. Despite the 1980s quality finish it was fantastic. :smile:
