Anyone organising or know of any for us Southerners this summer? Seems all the fun to be had is up North! Would love to join one closer to London before the sun leaves us for good and rain doesn't stop. I know these events tend to be kept secret sometimes...

You should have come to our meet at the Ace 2 weeks ago and there was Brooklands last week aswel

The events are not secret but you do need to roll one of your trouser legs up haha

Me! But I confess I've only gone to one meet. It was a blast, though. Very Supercars of London... lots of wraps, Lambos, bat-sh!t crazy loud Merc AMG burn-outs. Not for the shy and retiring but good fun. I think they're over at Woodbridge, in Suffolk, this Sunday for speed trials at the old Rendlesham airfield. Good to get on the email list as there's always a lot going on.

Andy's right - this is a really good event - great cars, lots of chat, decent burger van, good cause. I'll not be driving this year, not because I'm still banned but because I need my car for a holiday the following week and I don't want to break anything. Whilst you're free to drive however you want, I want to drive like a pillock. :smile:

thanks guys. unfortunately on the 8th I have a wedding to go to! maybe next year though. I also saw chatter on another thread about an Italian trip next year? not sure who is organising that
