exactly......people had to graft hard to build a future and many Cypriots are wealthy and that is from pure hard graft, nowadays everyone wants to come here for the right to get paid and not work....

Cyprus had it tough and this is why i do feel for the Ukrainians but at the same time i limited the news.....

I've just been having chat with a mate about the sanctions and the fact that they will have very little effect on the war. To which he looked at me very confused.

My rational is this. And we'll use gas prices as an example.

Gas prices have risen 600% since the start of the war. The EU say they will reduce reliance by two thirds in the coming months. This will push the prices up probably to an increase of 1000%.

Putin is currently selling gas 6 times what he was previously so he is absolutely raking it in.
Even if the EU reduce their consumption by two thirds his income is still 3 times what it was prior to the war, for selling 66% less!

When the war ends, Putin has more gas to sell and prices will still be above what they were pre-war.

Putin wins every time.

, An elderly couple pull into the frame from the right , they stop when they see a russian column of tanks about 100m away on a parallel road

The first tank turns and puts 2 rounds into the car killing them instantly then just turns and drives off

It's too horrific to post , whatever the world is doing it's not enough.

I can't even imagine the Nazi SS would shoot up civilian vehicles for no reason so they must have orders to shoot any occupied vehicle.
