Looks lovely - I never really liked the Grancabrio and much prefer the coupe body but yours looks fantastic!
That's where we differ. Perhaps I love mine a bit too much...
Good thread. Personally I couldn't justify chucking £40-60k at a car that whilst better doesn't give me any more of what I want.
Just think what you could get for that money. Is a Strad really twice as good as my MC? If I was buying new it would be an easier decision.
Indeed MAF, I would say, having seen it, Blondies 2 seater with the roll cage in the later guise is the one to go for.
Sure its totally impractical and Blondie used the rear cage to store the fruits of her Italian shoe shopping expedition but it works for me.
If I was going to change the GS (if) I believe the Strad would be the only thing I would go for. Can't see them dropping much either now.
Harness for every day or occasional use is ******* stupid!
Sorry but you try leaning over or trying to press a button on the centre console when in a harness. Fine for track use but lets face it how often would a Strad see track use?
I doubt you will notice much difference in performace moving up from the 4.7s to the stradale but going from the 4.2 myself I noticed a reasonable difference. In power.Strad may be what I move up to next instead of the 4.7 S.
Just a bit more extra win despite the same engine with a few more horses.
It is, but the point is that it all ads to that special feel, I think thats what Andy and I are attempting to convey.
But you don't buy a GT to have only 2 seats, surely the whole point of a GT is that it is a cruiser which can carry four adults and that is one of its strengths. I would not have a strad in 2 seater form.
Thanks for agreeing they don't call me the Oracle for nothing!

If you find a bargain then I think the stradale is justifiable.

Hahah.
Still watch that great video diary of yours en route to France.
Brilliant. Should do another one.
The Le Mans Video? I have done a Goodwood Revival one and try to do one for each major meet/event we have on these great forums.
Glad you enjoyed it. I'm just looking forward to getting a GT now
