I agree that the 4 seater is a far more practical car and will appeal to more and looks bloody amazing just think that the 2 seater will be the better investment and the one that over time people will want......

i agree for no other reason than I think any soft top looks better with 2 seats

Interesting comments here, for me the 4 seater strad is just about perfect but it would be a pipe dream for some years to come. Let's see how the s/h prices are affected once the Alfieri and GT replacement are available

Interestingly I disagree.

For me the Strad is not hardcore enough to be a 2 seater. If I wanted a 2 seater I would go for something else.

However there is a real gap in the market for a 2+2 seater which really only the Strad and FF fill.

So in my eyes the 2+2 seater is more desirable.

Hi....I've owned a gts and now have a strad 2011 and actually prefer the 2 seat version as you really can feel the weight saving as it feels a more abusive car to drive especially in race mode....the strad is a keeper.

Amazing looking machine! If that had black leather I would have seriously considered it!! The red is just too loud for me.

GLWTS.

Its really not once you're sat in it (an impartial friend told me!). There's enough black to offset the redness e.g. dashboard etc - and its not as bright as you might think (albeit it may not be for everyone). Why not have something other than black, like everyone has in more or less every car on the planet (myself included tbf)!?

Well now
Being somewhat aged I have a phobia about old men in 2 seater sports jobbies. Particularly soft tops
I think they look a trifle silly, generally bald with a paunch yearning to be young again, so for me it has to be a 4 seater
Apologies if I have offended anyone - that was not my intention
Just an observation

The 4 seater looks great with the nostril etc and would be my choice as I have a family.......just think as time goes on the 2 seater will be the one that becomes collectable...

I'm late to the party on this one, but having owned both, here's my take:

The MC Shift is a cracking car, absolutely nothing wrong with it IMHO. I ran mine for over 30k and apart from an exhaust solenoid never had a moments trouble. The Stradale whilst similar is a very different animal. The handling is much improved and the looks if you like brutal are stunning.

It's tough to decide which is the better car because both have strengths and weaknesses, the standard car has much more pliant suspension when Sport is switched off, much more comfortable on a long journey. The Strad can be harsh on some roads and can wander a little if not reined in.If you wat out and out performance the Strad is the car to go for, but if you prefer subtlety and comfort a good S will be hard to beat.

I did a brief write up and comparison here
