No issue with people moving a car on, at the end of the day buyers are not being forced to bid...BUT

Why claim you have had it for 4 years, when you have not had it for 4 weeks!

Lets hope you have fixed the door locking at lease for its new owner given the £4k extra its bid is now standing at

Its the lie that upsets me.....selling a car on for money is no problem if you can get it but dont lie

At least it gives some good tips for getting max value back on ebay for our motors.

Doe he mean the previous owner or himself.....Anyway a bit naughty if he means himself......Buying a car to a make money is fine, I'm sure we would all do it if we had the chance but make sure the advert is factual.

Seems to have remove that bit, but still says

"All service receipts are avalible (i have collected a few over the years!)"

And some waffle about going on many long trips through Europe...not sure what could be done other than question the advert and raise a stink with eBay.

Only if they say they want it to.

Correct, if seller doesn't want question viewed he can stop it appearing. What p1sses me off is that he has the barefaced gall to put his first post on this thread (Hi I here some one re listed a maserati, is it any good?) promoting interest in his car and hasn't posted since because someone sussed his email address was the same as in the advert. Shameless!

At least the ebay bids look fake so it will need to be relisted a few times before they can sell it - with a bit of luck they may well have to sell it for what they paid for it so, no profit and a few ebay bills to pay. Please don't be tempted to bid on it this time around.

Guys you know you could have so much fun with this . A similar thing happened on my BMW z4 forum so a few of us promptly bombarded the seller with questions about the car , started with sensible ones than got progressily stupid than we posted up all his responses , kept us amused for nearly a week even arranging viewings than cancelling at the last minute , wicked I know but it tought him a lesson . And at the end of it he confessed up and took it quite well even posting " we'll done guys you got me a good one "

I know someone has asked him about ownership......

Yes, I asked him via the eBay seller question feature how it is possible he has owned the car for 4 years when he in fact bought the car on 3rd September. I included a link to Paul's original listing! The response I got is quite comical! This guy is a total chancer. The deceit irritates me somewhat.
