This is always the game of the season for me. Even when Liverpool have a bad season, I am consoled somewhat when they beat their mortal enemies - especially at home!

Liverpool won 1-4 on my 40th birthday, which was a special day and that was the icing on the cake.

All in friendly rivalry of course! The most effective attack vs arguably the best defense - should be cagey.

As for Suarez...not shaking Evras hand....when offered, unforgiveable........has coloured the whole game......distracted...Liverpool not focused at all

Kenny...made a big mistake re Suarez...should not have said anything after outcome...should not have played him to day...plus then, after handshake incident...not allowed him to play....shoot self in foot with double barreled shotgun comes to mind.....Mr Buttery fingers De Hea....not a shot to save!

yep, no idea why Liverpool haven't tried more shots against him ... and how Henderson is kept on the pitch when he is so ineffective *every week* I'll never know.

Commentator has just reported that it was the 3rd minute of the game when Liverpool last had a shot on target. Poor.

As a United (born and bred in Manchester!) fan I'm happy and had respect for Dalglish as a player and a manager but not after this whole affair. He should have had a word with Saurez to make him shake his hand. Sir Alex had a chat with Evra before the game to ask what his intentions were and Evra said that he wanted to shake his hand because he was not ashamed of what has happened. That's what manager do, they know what can take a players mind off a game and they have to act to keep their players mind 100% on the game.

I've not been a fan of the handshake before the game it should be after and I'm surprised that the FA allowed it to occur. The FA are not being consistent in their approach after the QPR-Chelsea game.

I expect Saurez and Dalglish to be up before the beak on Monday and quite rightly. They disgust me, by defending racism.

I can though understand not shaking his hand, hes showing the world hes not racist but its personal! You can see at the end how evra celebrated that its personal!!

Hes a connected man and the FA love him!!

Anyway going away from that and to todays game, yes he shouldhave shaken his hand and end it all but i suppose he sees it as personal and never wanted to as evra is a little ****!
