Still pretty immoral not to be openly declaring the Cat status, especially when you're asking buyers to travel to Spain etc. I own Loz's other car and was fully aware of it's status before deciding to go for it. Sorry but it's not cool to be holding that information back.

I have told all that have asked that it is registered on the cat register, but is 'condition checked', that means it was repaired properly.
As the car only had a dinted wing and small dint on bonnet, i am amazed they wrote it off. Loz went well overboard, and replaced loads of items, that were clearly not broken, or damaged. I have all the paperwork and pics, to show the work done.
Car has done probably no more then a 1000 miles since I bought it. It is truely in a stunning condition. Cat registered or not, it is probably in better condition then many cars a lot younger. A proper bargain, and only selling, because of a new business venture is taking all my time, and i cannot give the Maser the attention, it deserves.
Andy

Andy, as I said most on here know the car and understand what a good one she is...SUppose it the ones on here that don't and as such thing you should have put CAT in the advert, but thats your choice...Good luck with the sale and I hope you get what you want for her. I certainly would be bidding if I had the readies....

Just put it in the ad....CAT....saves headache later down the line

Its like selling a house with subsidence, id always tell the buyer beforehand as it helps both sides to know early as compared to staying quiet and then get flagged up in a survey....all you will get at that point is abuse

Do you think Dem....not so sure...we now the car and its a good one but you still can not get away from the fact it's a CAT car and an early 2002....Hope the owner comes on here as it would be good to keep Loz's old girl on here.

It was sold to the current owner for the similar money and these cars in my opinion have bottomed out

I would have thought with the brakes that were out on and the larini, theres 4k just in those....

10k max for me

Yup, the brakes and Larinis are on my GS, ex-Loz.

I've enough regular GS parts to start building another car......Maybe that 3200 bodyshell that's mentioned in another post might be a good place to start....

It's great to see that Andy has mentioned the repair, putting a positive spin in it, which is entirely justified given Loz didn't cut any corners.

Hope it sells. The distance is a bit of a logistic to get around, but from my memory of it from when Loz had it, it deserves a good home.
