evening chaps,
strange one this as when i test drove it, there was no issue and also when it went in for PPI at autofficina they didin't report anything of the kind. the only difference from when i test drove it to picking up is the fact that the original wheels have been rerfurbed and put back on the car.
to be honest once i picked the car up and drove home on weds initially there was no noise, but once i got closer to home i heard a clunking sound when putting on the brakes. is this normal when you brake??? once i pulled off again there was a constant knock knock knocking noise that picks up the faster i went. Drove the car again this evening at it's REALLY LOUD now. it's as if the wheel or brake disc/pads are loose and the rotation of the wheel/brake disc is hitting something or clipping something to give the really loud knocking sound. wont drive it again until i have to.
so - to that end anyone got any ideas as to what it may be or anyone had same issue? like i said it only seems to have happened once the black alloys were taken off and the refurbed ones put on.
i spoke ot Autofficina but they have open day tomorrow so earliest they can look at it is next sat. want to get it sorted asap as it's spoiling an otherwise good car.
oh lastly what psi should front tyres be? they look a bit flat
cheers in advance for any info/suggestions/advice
