Next Sunday 2nd October the car stuff is on offer again.
Battery charger at £14, mini compressor, jump leads etc.
Still impressed with the charger after several years use.

Hope it's better than the 70 pound CTEK I bought that failed only on it's third use a year after buying it! If it was 15 pounds I would have understood more, but I always worry about leaving things plugged in that might fail, so not that keen on either now :(

Had mine a couple of years now, use on different cars and still going strong

For the first time ever one of mine has failed to revive/recharge the 3200 battery. I've not run it for a month and it was so dead the windows couldn't even drop on the door! I had to use an old fashioned battery charger for 2 hours to get enough charge so that the Ultimate charger could get it going again and the battery registered 6V when I first connected it!

I do wonder if the battery is now toast.

I'd be disinclined to trust it.

The lidl charger is good, however I have noticed that the current one does not appear to have a LCD display like the one I bought last year?
The compressor is decent, and the jump leads too.

No LCD. Just some LEDs with symbols alongside indicating the mode.Testing it now on the Alfasud.

I bought a compressor too, but have just tested it and it's duff. Struggles to start when connected to a tyre, and after a few on-off switch cycles the switch has failed. Load of rubbish. Time for a refund.

Some chargers won't chargea12v battery if it is below 7V.
They think it may be a fully charged 6V.
Put jump leads on it from a healthy 12v and that will take the voltage up to the point where the charger kicks in.
Done this as well with battery drills.

worth knowing and explains why it said 6V when I initially connected it.

I had the same at the weekend but popped it on my Halfrauds battery charge first then back on the Lidl special after and all was fine. The Lidl is not a battery charger so won't from low or zero volts.
