Battery been off charging, back on, all good, first drive and dropped daughter off at her BF's, went to petrol station to the little mini-market thing, packed so had the thread through cars queueing for petrol (big accident on M62), did a sharp left, revs soared beyond belief for a quasi-second (half sure I saw 'D' on driver display, tho I'm always in Sports Manual) no difference in motion of car, assume I'd hit an oil or petrol spill on one rear wheel for split sec and lost some traction spinning one wheel, but as I said, over with instantly. Parked up, got my stuff (four Leffe's delayed from b'day and a Warbies toastie loaf', car fine, after about 15 mins CEL came on, mahoosive engine graphic, 'Engine System Management Failure' usual 'Go to dealer'. Car drove and drives fine even now, in fact really nice, almost like it needed a break from having a battery!
Tried to find my wee BT/Wifi OBDII gadget, feck nose where that's gone, no luck finding it, so tmrw a quick run to local garage and hook up their Autel.
My missus says get rid but I'm not driving her Pug.
