Battery been off charging, back on, all good, first drive and dropped daughter off at her BF's, went to petrol station to the little mini-market thing, packed so had the thread through cars queueing for petrol (big accident on M62), did a sharp left, revs soared beyond belief for a quasi-second (half sure I saw 'D' on driver display, tho I'm always in Sports Manual) no difference in motion of car, assume I'd hit an oil or petrol spill on one rear wheel for split sec and lost some traction spinning one wheel, but as I said, over with instantly. Parked up, got my stuff (four Leffe's delayed from b'day and a Warbies toastie loaf', car fine, after about 15 mins CEL came on, mahoosive engine graphic, 'Engine System Management Failure' usual 'Go to dealer'. Car drove and drives fine even now, in fact really nice, almost like it needed a break from having a battery!

Tried to find my wee BT/Wifi OBDII gadget, feck nose where that's gone, no luck finding it, so tmrw a quick run to local garage and hook up their Autel.

My missus says get rid but I'm not driving her Pug.

Standard wife answer, wait until something big goes wrong for some proper earache , are you sure the battery is OK , modern electronics don't like a low battery

Hooked up obd reader just now at friendly garage, lean idle bank 1, cleared, not come back yet.

Could be lamda, could be the wheel spin confusing it, or maybe my current experiment with Shell V-power...

CEL every day now - no effect on drivability, P2187, garage's proper Autel says O2 sensor which I presume is aka Lamda sensor? Any recommended places to get one, two, four or eight.

As I sure they are same I guess I need two, are they specific (suspect not) or have weird wiring (suspect so)?

I had the rev spike happen twice earlier in spring just after I started driving it regularly again (drove it precisely 5 times from October to April, so glad I paid the tax...), I thought it was wheelspin too but I think it was just moody. Been fine ever since.

It’s Italian character! Do a battery reset, swear at it a few times and harmony will (should) be restored.

Getting system idle too lean both banks now. Will try a reset, I would thing the odds of both lambacsensors going are slim.
