The number plate on my 4200 is so low it's not picked up by the plate reader in my local supermarket.

Wonder if it's the same on the motorway average speed cameras?

I don't even think it is that low.

Yes, it's lower than the norm, but hardly on the floor. Compared with my Merc.

No 3200 had "skyhook" which was launched around 2002 for the 4200/Spyders. Some of the very early 4200's had the same as the 3200 (Ferrari actuators on Bilstein Shocks).
.

I find it very unlikely that any 4200 had 3200 Bilstein shocks with Ferrari actuators where did you get that information from?
The promotional video for the spyder, that of course was launched while the 3200 was still for sale before the 4200 Coupe, makes great play over the new Cambiocorsa gearbox and new skyhook suspension, so just can't see them myself doing that.

Finally picked the car up from Foskerz...do to work commitments... Had the drivers seat made good (repainted) and full sd2 diagnostic check...all clear!! I fitted Becker cascade whilst the seat was being done then finally got to drive the car properly....wow very nice... Then CEL light comes on... Back on sd2 it turns out as the fuel was really low and the dealer is on rough ground the ecu noted the fuel pressure as low. Spoke to the service manager who diagnosed this before it went on the sd2.. It appears certain ferraris suffer too. Moral of the story keep plenty of fuel in the tank..... It's now full!!
Just been reading the full service history (didn't go through it when I bought it as the sales manager is a friend for over 30 years and it had a good inspection by his techs) it turns out that the car has had in the last 3 years new rad, water pump, starter motor, front wishbones, new throttle pot, new throttle body, cam belts and tensioner twice and a heap more.... And I got the car dirt cheap...oh and put the front number plate in the proper place...so it's been a good day

congrats and big welcome, lot of good advice and help on here.
very nice, like the look of the front without the plate below the grill, looks cleaner. if only we didn't need that plate on the front. interior is very nice combo, not seen that before.

Thank you.......I really hated the number plate on the bodywork...yes I agree cleaner without the number plate.....yes someone else mentioned an unusual colour combo...its Grigio touring but the inside I think it is known as Ivory (not sure the Italian version!!) but I could be wrong

Good news...always nice to know the last owner put everything right for you just before you bought it.
