They bloody did, too! But it's a wonderful car and will still be worth every penny when, detailed and with a fresh-painted nose and refurbed wheels, it appears for sale in a couple of weeks.

I wasn't - Its just one car I really don't find attractive...

The GranCab is lovely, but the match-box sized boot pis5es me off and I'd feel a bit 'conspicuous' driving it with the roof down. Benny wears a trapper's hat, FFS. He's a special case and the better for it.

For me - the convertible is not purchased for the looks - its purely for the exhaust noise and the engagement with environment.
I prefer the lines on coupes

As I apparently do not meet the Oxford English Dictionary definition of 'middle aged man' for quite some time - I have taken the liberty of purchasing an open top maserati. Its the facelift model and steers remarkably well. The weight saving (being made of plastic) means I can reach quite some speed going downhill.

Thanks - I didn't want to reveal my new purchase too early, as I thought the red was a bit polarising. And one seat is just downright selfish!
