Cheap car on the face of it. Looks to be a good way into Granturismo ownership. Seems to be lots of 4.2's on the market, some of which are more realistically priced than others. This won't hang about for long.

Yes they are coming down, plenty for sale, so supply and demand. Cheap tyres on that one though.

Another 6 months and there will be lots in the mid 20's range. I am waiting too!

I keep telling myself this. Plus the 4200 needs some fettling to make it an easy sale...

Unless someone wants to take it now, (fairly minor) warts and all

I think the GT will settle in the mid teens in a few years and the GTS in mid to high 20's. This will mirror the 4200 and GS. Is this too pessimistic?

Yes there will be a crossover when the 3200 and 4200 move higher than the Early GT 4.2 cars IMO.

If that is true Phil I am still not sure I will swap - Is it a better car - granted they look amazing but heavier with same engine, longer wheel base but I can see the allure - I initially only looked at GT's while I was a lurker but decided I didn't want finance !!

DO we think the GT will get that low........I just doesn't look like a car that could ever dip below 20k.......unless it has star ship miles and not looked after that is.........I think we will be waiting a very long time before you can get a GT for under 20k if what we have seen on values so far.

I love the GT even in 4.2 guise... but what I have seen and know from those in the trade is that they do not wear as well as the coupe due to having a 2 year service scheduled and a harder initial life as well as a less sympathetic owner group.
