You might find they're a very similar age, just registered at different times

I say that a bit tongue in cheek as they stopped making GSs in April 2007 IIRC.

Assembly numbers are helpful in this regard I believe.

Yes I suppose you are right on that chaps, registration dates do not reflect date of manufacture, so they could be around the same age, or of course the early 07 could actually be an 06 model manufacture..!! Who knows unless as Miles says, compare assembly numbers..!!

I'm guessing the chassis numbers would have been sequential so the higher the number, the later the car?

Will have to ask what the spread on the Chassi Numbers actually was, then we can use that as a guide, one for Maserati to answer..!!
