G3 clay mitt - really good

Just bought my mitt the last one in halfords .Iam almost out of detail spray could you use just water as a lubricant ( que the lude jokes ) or mix some water in with what I have left .

Just mix up half a bucket of megs or other brand car wash shampoo in a bucket so its twice as concentrated as normal and thats all you need. Works a treat and you can just hose the residue off. I never use the dedicated clay bar lube with mine.

Bloody ****. I'm no claying expert but that mitt is something else. *So* much easier than the bars, and I struggle to see that it's not going to be as effective. I used DoDo Juice Born Slippy which I had last year, with the clay bar kit. The paint was like sandpaper, bonnet particularly. Now it's *Almost* as shiny as it was for Brunty, and I've not even waxed yet!

Currently letting her air dry in the weak sunshine before cracking the Harlys. I'll put another coat of sealant on the wheels as well.

so much quicker than a clay bar. You can also take the mitt off and shape it round tricky areas like below the front grill on a 4200. You only really need a clay bar for tricky areas round badges for example.

I also clay mitt mine about every 3rd wash as its so quick.

I'm blown away mate. Never thought it would looks this good. I'm out of snow foam and Plastic treatment, so some more shopping (how sad) and I appear to have worn a hole in my wash mitt.....

Mine got rinsed, two bucket washed, clay mitted with detailer, hosed down again and then covered in Autoglym Super resin polished and shined.
Looks no different than it did before! Lol!

Nothing wrong with "Aqua Wax" works well as a maintenance product.


Gave mine a little Brucey Spruce today, now all ready for Brands tomorrow
