Phil should stick with his decision. Bending to pleas to come back gives a tinge of ill-considered decision to quit.

I truly hope that wattie hasn’t been banned as I like to gawp at his Mrs.
For life I have just been told. I clearly have missed so much but then I stick to cars, wine, cats and good morning threads mostly. Works fine for me.

It is difficult to keep a forum interesting so that people want to come back for interest rather than just my car is broken and I need advice.
Me personally I like some of the other topics even though I don’t post much. I am a member of other forums too and TBH they are dull and are purely visited when I need information, SM has always been interesting. I understand the need to find balance but as in most situations the pendulum swings from too far one side to the exact opposite into overkill.
Its not an easy job to moderate this forum but I hope you don’t kill it’s soul and become another advice centre.
