What a great forum....congrats Matt on a great job. I feel like I know a lot of you guys in the UK but I haven't met any of you....yet. Of course when Dem moves down here and opens his Restaurant by the beach he might start a trend...bit like the migration of cars

And don't forget Nikos, he'll be Dems partner and the man greeting the customers at the door ( the women here are very friendly Nikos)..............

Geoff, I intend to be in Sydney next year. If that's anywhere close, we should have a beer. If we can find anything like beer....

Love to share an ale with you but Sydney is 500 miles away. We have other Maseratioz brothers in Sydney who won't pass up the chance. But you never know, I could by in Sydney when you are in Oz so make sure you let us know. By the way beer should be very cold and Fzzzzzz....not warm and flat. Plenty of the cold stuff here for you.

Oh indeed. Plenty of cold stuff, I can agree with. Lacking on the flavour front, though :)

Heh. I made quite a detailed study when I was in Sydney last. At least everything I could see I tried once :)

The best I hit were the Bluetongue brewery in (IIRC) the Hunter Valley, but....

First and last port of call most days; says it all really...

A very sociable place to be, I've met a good many of you in the last two and a half years of ownership and there has never been a dull moment. Yes there have been some dark times too but many great moments along the way. I cannot think of any place that covers so many bases.

Happy Birthday forum...
