So as a mark of respect for Matt and the team I think its only fitting that we try and break a record on that day.........Was thinking that at 20:00 on the evening of the 23rd we try and get as many members on line to post congrats on this thread..........A fitting tribute to the people that made this happen............Lets face it this is now a part of my life almost everyday and I'm sure it is for most of you as well.

So 20:00 most users on line.....

Well done Matt and the team a great achievement this forum and long may ti continue....

Yes, it is the 23rd Andy and thanks for your kind words, but I cant take all the credit.

Here is a special thanks to the team behind the scenes, Loz, Parisien, Urban and Emtee, without their input and the input of the member we would be nothing.

75k posts in the first year of a forum is phenomenal, long may it continue. We also had an offer to purchase the forum recently...to which I declined, but its nice to know we have made such an impact and are drawing the eye of the wider auto fraternity.

I am capable of forgetting my wedding anniversary but to forget the anniversary of the forum is unforgiveable.

Parisien and I were the first two to be kicked out of Maserati Forum for having an opinion. That seems like a lifetime ago. I in anger tried to put together a forum with chat> Parisien and me were the only members of this half baked effort and would chat in the evenings online with the improvised chat facility. Then as luck would have it Matt and Loz the backbone of the old forum got kicked out too and with Matt's website knowledge Sports Maserati Forum was born.........The Lord moves his hand in a mysterious way...........We now have the best Forum on the Planet

Not sure UM...which of us was kicked off first.......... like a piece of internet detritus..............but as that door closed a better and far more interesting "door" opened.......luvin' it...................on without doubt the best forum in the electronic ether!

Have to agree Andy, this is a part of my life now, Well done to Matt and everyone who has made this forum become a success, 75K posts in 12 months is pretty impressive. Well done all.

Looking forward to popping a cork next Wednesday. I think I made my first post on the 23rd - seems both like a long time ago in that so much has happened, but also a mere blink of an eye, as it's all been so d@mned enjoyable!

I shall be in Marrakech next Wednesday night and so probably will be unable to post at 8pm. Though, I will be here in spirit. When I toriginally urned up here at Sportsmaserati, I found the welcome on here from the regulars warm and sincere. I feel 'at home' here & surely, that's the greatest achievement that any forum can aspire to?

Well, as you mention it.....my 'Other Half' was once the lead advocate for UK Amnesty International. In fact, she's currently banned from entering Egypt for once publically calling for the indictment of Mubarak (sp). So, she'll probably get arrested.....:D

Didn't realize that you all got kicked out!? So what did you do to rattle Birdcage's cage?
Let me guess: opinions on dealers and/or specialists? That was always an, ahem, lively topic for debate.
