Thanks Ewan. I would have to agree that my choice would have to be a pre-facelift car. Not she why they called it a face lift. Should have been a face drop as didn't improve it for me.

Now if only there was a pre-facelift with a 4.7! ;)

I think the 4.2 has enough poke for most. Better save my pennies for a Sport GTS 4.2 for next year then.

So....to get back on topic...

Hopeful of a deal on Dicky's QP, having a few insurance headaches, back-up plan is to buy an XFR but I really want a QP...

Who is Ray ?

The plate belonged to the previous owner and I took that photo the day I collected it, before the plate had been changed. I part exchanged a yellow 355 Spider for it (just visible on the right hand side of the photo).

I like yellow on out-and-out sports cars. But not on modern Maseratis. For me, the last Maser that worked in yellow was the Bora. (With due apologees to Sir Drummond and all other yellow modern Maser fans.)

Insurance headaches? Wtf? It's a piece of puss to insure a QP compared to an XFR. £300 for me under 40
