The whole thing about the proportions and what works is all very subjective, we don't all like the same cars or women for that matter - each to their own - but for me, I like the look of this facelift at first glance and look forward to seeing one in the flesh

Must say that it is subjective...for me the front looks much better and the roof line isn't so bulbous..........I am rather surprised at most of the comments......Ah well lets see what it looks like in the flesh...

Love this and the FF. Thing is, they're way out of my league, even when 5 years old, but it's good to dream......

A good FF Dicky is still over 150k from what I can see and would not imagine them coming down much more........Yes can but dream...

Don't like, looks like a big Z3 Coupe to me, and I didn't like that either :(

One of the reasons I love the FF. I love the Z3M coupe. Missed an opportunity to buy one for £7.5k about 18 months ago by dithering for a day. Kicking myself now as they're £20k+ for a decent one.

Yep love the Z3 M coupe, it all stems back to the looks of the Scimitar and/or Jensen Interceptor FF. I have been offered a mint E30 Hartge H27 which I need to think seriously about as the boat sailed a long time ago on anything E30 325i/M3/Hartge/IS flavoured.

Same her Mark, my mate had a yellow Z3 Coupe for sale for 9k. Test drove it and was tempted but Liz wanted me to keep the 4 seater M3 I had at the time. Wish I has as that car was for sale last year at 22k.

E30 3 series was the car that got me into BMW....Remember going to the Motorshow in London and seeing a bright red 325i Sport when it came out and feel in love with it. any years later I manage to get an early 325i Sport and loved it to death...and that lead to the M3 Evo 11 which was just a brilliant car of its time.......Any good E30 series has to be an investment Phil especially the special ones like Alpine etc...

I have always liked estate inspired GTs including the Z3M but this looks more like one of those photoshot images where all the lines looked stretched or misaligned. Not htat I am going to lose any sleep over it as I will never be able to afford one.

Both stunning cars. The Scimitar still looks good today and the Interceptor, while far from pretty, had a real presence about it.

That is the issue with concept cars they seem to be ill proportioned. For me the window line on this concept looks far too low compared to the height of the bonnet. The bonnet looks far too long compared to the current FF. Apart from all those design flaws it is excellent!
