So Monza and it was just such a better experience than Silverstone.....Would love to do Spa and some stage...
Totally agree. Done both. Loved the laid on buses too and from Station at Monza, so much better organised. Price wise we were in the grandstand at Parabolica all weekend for what race day general admission ticket would cost at Silverstone. I also didn't like that the general public could not access the inner circuit at Silverstone, though that may have changed. But for me I probably wouldn't go to Silverstone again.

We were in the Grandstand on the Parabolica as well.....We drove down and didn't have anywhere to stay on the Saturday but had a tent...Got to the circuit and just by the perimeter wall was a camping site and all we had to do was show our ticket and it was free....Now that wouldn't happen at Silverstone. We had the best evening in the bar by the circuit drinking with the Dutch, Italians and Germans....Just amazing.......Mind you this was back in 2000....The year a marshal died when a wheel left a Jordan I believe and think it was Martin Brundle driving....It was also Jensons first year in F1.....He was driving a BMW and came of at the Parabolica while following the safety car....

Silverstone was a big let down for me due to the reasons stated above and more.
I will not be going again.
Instead i will combine an abroad visit with a holiday in future

It's a pity Silverstone is such a let down, a few year back we went to Spa rather than Silverstone the total cost for the weekend including tickets, hotels & ferrys was cheaper than walking across the road to our "local" circuit. Also Spa is a much better track watch from especially if you are near Eau Rouge.

Silverstone seems to have lost the plot, it is much more geared up for corporate entertainment, and seems to have lost focus on the "normal" punter who enjoys motor racing.

Well Mrs Moz and I are here and have just watched moody Lewis get pole at last. The tent is pitched a good 10 mins walk from the toilets which are cr@p literally. The food outlets closed early last night for some unknown reason as there were plenty of late revellers wanting a curry before bed.

So we've done it now, but won't bother again. And yes, access to the inner area is still resticted.
