Off to Silverstone in the morning. Anyone else going this year? Mrs Moz and I are camping at Woodlands for the three days.
Unfortunately not with the Masser - but Mrs Moz's Mini. It's called Bumble and looks like a bee!

Would love to take the family but just cannot justify the price these days..........A friend is going and he said he may be able to get me a ticket but will not know until Saturday.....

Not going this year, instead off to the German Grand Prix in a few weeks as a birthday present for my son. Also much better value for money.

Silverstone is 'rip off city man'
but
I don't think I could stomach those germans (emphasis on the germ bit)

Certainly not - dreadful circuit for spectators, and incredible prices. My daughter is working there again this year though, flogging high priced tat with team logos.

I went to the Austrian GP last weekend. What a cracking circuit. Great view from grandstand, easy to get in and out of and not too expensive. Stayed in Graz which is a lovely city and possibly the highest density of lovely women I've ever seen. Thoroughly recommend (though getting to Graz is a PITA).

I'm off there on Sunday, first time since 1982.. a mate of mine blagged one or two charity tickets for the BRDC hospitality suite

So its a nice lunch, free Prosecco and lots of posing around, might even get to watch the race ;)

Last time I went to Silverstone was about 10 years ago, had a beer in the sun, couldn't work out who was leading, fell asleep in the stand so did my mate I was with.

Nuff said really.

Last time i went to Silverstone my brother and i watched a bloke in a Ferrari doing donuts in the camp site next to the beer tent ....then in the morning we passed it stoved into a rather large oak tree on our way to the track ....Happy days .

That was quite a hangover I seem to remember 2 things about that morning.
1. being woken up by Fraser with beer being poured in my ear
2. You in the pit lane eating a bacon sandwich and one end of the rind was down your throat and the other end still in the bap and you didn't know wether to pull or swallow....accompanied by various retching sounds !
