Hello all. Brian has confirmed all okay for the morning of Saturday 28 September.

Facilities for the detailing day - RGS will erect (fnarr fnarr) a gazebo in their outdoor concreted parking area which would protect a "demo car" from the elements. There will be a water hose, and extension lead for electricity. EnzoMC - is that okay for you to do your demo? Will you bring along any other bits you need such as a power washer? I'm not really sure there will be enough room to enable others to practice on their own cars on the day. There is plenty of parking available for those who come along to watch.

MAF - I will bring both rotary and DA with various pads and I can discuss the options with you before you go and spend your money
SachaP - yep will bring as above and various polishes, cleaners and waxes. would you friend have any old painted panels (dark colour if poss) sitting around we could use (will say now the paint will get damaged) - will demo a break through and how easy it can be done but also how easy it is to avoid
will he have a jet wash we could use, otherwise will see if I can fit mine into my little car - unless anyone coming has a little portible one they could bring
Safrane - what colour is the golf ? dark colour ?
Roger / Rossyl - will look to setup a sunday morning for you 2

The venue is RGS Motorsport, Unit 72 - 73 Leyland Trading Estate, Irthingborough Rd, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire NN8 1RT. The proprietor, Brian, gets in around 7.30. I will try and get there by 8.00 to help set up the gazebo. Will check about spare panels to work on, as well as a power washer, but I'm pretty sure he has a power washer that we could borrow.

Just spoken with Brian at RGS. We have use of a jet wash, and we also have use of an old non-runner Mitsubishi FTO in dark grey!! We have permission to demonstrate on one panel of that car how not to use a machine polisher, and we can use other panels to demonstrate how to properly use a machine polisher.
