Very good Phil, I appreciate someone who rises to the occasion. It was always going to happen, just in my time and for the right car. Luckily for me this forum (and it's contributors) exist to help idiots like me.

Thanks Phil, loved what you did with that car, wish I had the skills to do the same but my engineering g is more electronic biased. I intend to enjoy it as it is the proverbial life long ambition realised. After getting a PPL that is!!

Andy - Spoke to SWMBO - apparently we have a weekend camping booked for 7,8,9 August - I am trying the puppy eyes look so leave it with me - I would do both nights and perhaps an hour or 2 in the morning and afternoon,
Would be good to hook up with you guys and put faces to names.

Yes,
GS Seats, carbon fiber wheel and door inserts and surround around the radio unit. It has the aluminium pedals and a telephone interface which is integrated - not sure it will get used though as you have to insert your sim into a credit card affair which slides into a unit. 6 CD Changer in boot, cruise control.

Not sure what is the normal spec, I do like the blue though and the seats are perforated and showing next to no wear.

When I get it home I will take some better photos.

The more I look at it and the more I (re) read this thread, the more envious I get! Looks absolutely stunning and the carbon extras/premium leather really does make this a 'one-off' 4200...
