I know when they get to a certain low price people might say worth it even for parts the reality is you might be a long time selling seats or a bonnet etc and recouping(no pun intended) your £5500.

Totally agree - it has the potential worth of more that the asking price, but it will be a long time coming, if at all.

Oh yes of course .... that's one of the first ones that caught my attention. Lots of extras too like the exhaust and Android head unit. I'm sure it won't be around long enough though.....I won't be ready to buy till the Summer.

To clarify the mystery..... I'm tied into an 8 seater minivan which I need to cart the extended family around in this summer for some family wedding events. Once that's done I can free up the space on my drive (sic.bank account) to buy a Maser.

Obviously this is my baby and if circumstances were different, I wouldn't be selling.

The most important thing to me, is that it goes to the right home, hence my lowering the price for forum members only. I won't be reducing the price outside of here.

It needs the odd thing, but I guarantee they pretty much all do and the little niggles often add to the charm of Italian car ownership.

It's not concourse condition, but it is lovely overall and mechanically spot on.The little jobs can be done at the new owners leisure.

The addition of the reverse camera is one of the best things I've done to it!

I was nervous going into Maserati ownership, but I've got the bug now and will return to the brand at some point (if it sells).

That’s true… If you own one perhaps, or have the option of getting into one that needs parts, these can be disproportionately expensive as well as hard to find. If you spanner yourself, getting a ‘ cheap breaker’, (or even buying two to make one), it could be an affordable way to fix, and move the carcass of what’s left onto an established breaker...?
I guess I might be encouraging breaking them, which I don’t endorse, but there is a genuine need for parts for all that….? Of course, I’m over simplifying because part numbers are infamously incompatible across seemingly the same platforms….but if folk can’t find a way to make it financially viable, they’ll be left to rot away somewhere anyway…

Definitely
Breaking cars for bits worked a bit better for cars from the 70s.

Quite an optimistic asking price in the current climate … https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/16596597
That's a lovely looking car. Low mileage, can give it a run up the road before buying.
When the 3200 first come out I see one at Barton Mills fuel station, it sort of trumped all other cars for me. Stylish without being flash, the rarity played a big part as well. The internet to the masses was still in its infancy at the time so people made their own mind up back then and not listen to some spotty kid's review of Maserati on Pistonheads.

I've noticed there has been fewer and fewer 32's for sale lately, never mind AC's, think last time I looked a week or 2 back there were only 2.

The flock seems to be thinning out Loz which will help prices I guess.

Low mileage Assetto Corsa, looks good, belts just done. I'd give it a look if I was in the market, got to be worth £25k surely, so asking price, minus negotiating room, maybe not too optimistic.
We’ll see … I reckon it’ll still be on the market in 6 - 9 months time after a 10% discount on the initial asking price (regrettably, as a 3200 owner).

I still think it would sell at £25 . I'm not a betting man! lol
That’s the price of ours, I reckon it has to be better value, incredibly clean and well-maintained car, and it’s Rosso.
