Spyder owners together it seems as I agree with Benny.
No way would I compare my Spyder with a Merc SL and neither would anyone else who has been in it. The Merc may be more efficient but it has all the charm and character of a block of wood and any boring old fart can buy a block of wood.
The Spyder may have scuttle shake but other than low speed bumpy roads you don't really notice it. When moving it is fast planted, corners well and sounds awesome. If you want a convertible to put a smile on your face you will be hard pushed to beat a sorted well driven Spyder - you also have the knowledge that everyone else will be thinking lucky bugger a Maserati Convertible
