A damp passenger footwell and electrical problems? As the fuse box is in the passenger footwell, the two may well be linked.

I know this car will cost me money to run but just don't want it 2 weeks into ownership. Reason I bought from a garage with a warranty and had been checked out by the guys next door to adg.

I do plan to have my car locked up over the winter months and bring out after all the salts from winter are washed away. But maybe I should get myself a waterproof cover for the wet days and nights.

ADG are a class outfit. I bought my car from there and they have honoured everything they had promised with snag lists etc. Much like yours i had damp footwell and window problems shortly after buying the car and they (via giallo's) sorted it all out. Recently Giallo's as i mentioned also sorted out all the drains etc to hopefully prevent it happening again. It seems like a very common problem with Gransports so an annual check of the drains particularly before winter is a very good idea. I've become a bit scared about the water ingress and find myself checking it regularly but happy to say its not come back since. The air con pipe is in that footwell and gets ice cold so you may have a bit of condensation in the upper material of the footwell but nothing more than that.....
